Who will clean my house?
You will greatly appreciate that we, the owners, who have been cleaning houses for 12 years are the ones who will be cleaning your house. This is why we can confidently say that Maid In Saskatoon is reliable, trustworthy and that your house will consistently be cleaned to the same high standard.
How much will it cost to clean my house?
Every home is different. The largest variables are the size of your home and how many bathrooms there are.
What will you do in my home?
Our service includes vacuuming all carpets and all hardwood surfaces. Washing all hard surface floors thoroughly. The dusting of all furniture and ledges, cleaning mirrors, tubs, showers, vanities and toilets. Cleaning kitchen sinks, counter tops, outside of all kitchen appliances and inside microwave. Walls and doors are spot cleaned. Waste baskets are emptied. See Services and Rates section for more details.
Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?
We provide all supplies. However, if you have central vac or a vacuum in good working order, we would prefer to use it. As well, if you own any specific products you prefer to use, such as a certain brand of wood floor cleaner, we will gladly use it.
Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?
We ask that you take a few minutes the night before your scheduled house cleaning to tidy. This will allow us to concentrate our time in your home on cleaning.
Do I have to be home during the cleaning?
Most of our customers are busy people that appreciate coming home to a clean house and enjoy not being there while we are cleaning. Most supply us with a key. Others give us a code to enter through the garage.
How do I pay for the service?
Payment is made on the day of each visit. Most customers find it convenient to leave a cheque payable to Maid In Saskatoon on the kitchen table or counter top. Others pay with cash or e-transfer.
What if I need to reschedule a house cleaning?
We will reschedule your appointment. Maid In Saskatoon will do anything we can to satisfy our clients. We do ask for advance notice when possible. The rescheduled appointment will have to be made at our availability.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We do not require you to sign anything. You are under no contractual obligation as payment is made at each visit. We would prefer to earn your continued patronage based on our ability to meet your needs rather than based on a contractual relationship.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are licensed and insured.
What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a statutory holiday we will contact you and possibly reschedule depending on availability.
What if I have vacation plans and do not want to have my house cleaned while I am away?
If you have vacation plans and need a temporary cancellation, please call Maid In Saskatoon as soon as possible to let us know.
What if something gets broken when my home is cleaned?
We treat your home with the greatest care; however, should an accident or breakage occur while we are in your home, we will contact you as soon as possible and we will make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced if it cannot be repaired. We are licensed and insured for your protection, so you don't have to worry.
Do you do laundry, ironing, or dishes?
No. We stick to what we know best.
If I have pets, do I have to secure them during house cleaning?
We love pets! But if you will not be home while we clean, we do ask that you introduce your pet to us. Many of our customers also show us where the animal treats are. This way, when we arrive, we can give the pet a treat and go about our business.
